It was well made, and the art style was nice, but it may have removed some of the tension and fear that there could have been in an AW tribute.

The venting was pretty transparent, but then again you probably don't care. I felt your anger, but I didn't laugh all that much. On the other hand, your animation/art style is pretty unique.

Hell I actually recorded this so long ago that I can barely even do the voice anymore.

For me, I don't think it's so much that the jokes aren't well-written or clever, but that their delivery could be better, as well as the overall pacing. I feel like the inspection scene just went on for way too long. However, the inspector's dream sequence was really well done and amusing.

This is a great example of a well-written, funny flash that just happens to not look all that good. Just proves that aesthetics aren't everything. Keep it up.

Lack of a background may be off-putting to some, but it's a good joke, and the character is well designed.

Pretty good stuff. I like the mix of sprite animation and live action, that must have been tough to pull off. Although, I feel like maybe there's a bit too much action on screen, even for a "chaotic battle." I've seen things like this, where multiple views are rewarding, but even on my second viewing, there seems to be too big of an emphasis on the main character. When you zoom in on his super, for example, it makes it very difficult to watch the other characters if you wanted to; and especially when he's warping all over the screen. The seperate fights should have equal room on the screen to breathe, so the viewer can really get a good grasp of what's going on.

This was sweet. You definitely have a passion for the show, and you pulled off this simple, nearly word-less story in a very Disney esque fashion. What little voice acting there is is very good, and it helps set up the scene.

Kudos to making a Skyrim flash not based off an overused meme. The song is great, and the accompanying animation is pretty fucking awesome too.

There's some self-aware humor here that I can really get behind. Stylish and witty, with good satirical undertones.

Oponok responds:

Thanks for the kind words. There's a lot of "self-aware" humor on Newgrounds, but it generally is in the form of a video game or franchise parody, which I usually keep away from making. Not because there's anything wrong with any of that (I enjoy it as much as the next guy), but because there are already so many people doing it, and doing it well, that I'm fairly certain I wouldn't bring anything to the table. I'm glad people are enjoying this kind of thing, so I'll continue making it.

The art style is cool. I like how you give it sort of a traditional anime style, but play with shilouettes in the beginning. Your voice acting isn't professional quality to be sure, but it's subdued and understated enough to the point where it isn't obnoxious or in anyone's face. As for the theme/story, not to my tastes personally, but it's a clever analogy, and I respect the execution.
