This is an interesting song. Has a very experimental vibe with the mix of all the different genres. The death-metal esque growl came out of nowhere, caught me off guard. Don't know how danceable it is, more of a contemplative listen, but then again that's what I prefer anyway.

Poniiboi responds:

PM me with what could be improved. I'm interested in what you have to say.

You rocked it fine. And what a thing TO rock. Great job Senator, great job Tekk.

Poniiboi responds:

Gracias. You were very optimistic.

Hey, haters gonna hate, right? I'd say this is a pretty fucking cool beat, if a little bit unrefined.

Poniiboi responds:

Thanks!

Holy shit, the only way this'd be any better is if it had some harmonica every so often. I know it's supposed to be an R&B loop, but I wrote a rap that is perfect for this. Mind if I use it?

LoveKavi responds:

Ha thanks and sure go ahead! just credit me ;)

How does this not have any comments?

This is awesome. I'm a big Gaiman fan, so I definitely appreciate this (although I've never read this before (is this from a novel of his, or is it a book of poems or...?). I think the impact of the last lines is supported by the fact that you read the whole thing deadpan, even while the subject matter seems a bit silly at first.

And the way it just ENDS, letting the music fade away and leaving you to your thoughts. As for the poem itself it's certainly unique structurally. It's a very roundabout way of making a simple point that I'm not sure how I feel about (whether I agree with the point itself, or how it was presented, etc.). But I ain't hear to critique the British dude, this is a review of your voice acting. Which is awesome here, the perfect "solemn narrator." And great use of that music too, by the way.

RicePirate responds:

Thanks so much! I'm a big NG fan, too. Didn't know a whole lot about his poetry though ... I was brought to this by a friend who wanted a reading for xmas. The music most certainly helped out A LOT :P Glad you enjoyed it!

Pretty damn good

The second to last voice was awesome.

I've always had a lot of respect for voice actors. You sound like you have a lot of potential, man. I'm not that smart on the subject so I can't give you an in-depth critique, but, keep it up.

Shock-Dingo responds:

Hi there,
Thanks for stopping by and giving your thoughts! :) I appreciate the kind words man, so don't worry about not being able to do an in depth critique.

Take care!

Huh

Makes me think of Castle Crashers. It's got that epic fight/march feeling going on.

NemesisTheory responds:

Thanks for that! I really love David's music, so to see that comparison really makes me smile. :)

This is great, but...

Really good song, but if anything, it's actually kinda relaxing. :P Not sure if that was what you were going for. I'd definitely have this on my iPod, it's a really nice sound and it'd be a great chillout track.

MrMusicalLion responds:

That's the idea :) It's a spooky song because it's creepy yet relaxing. Imagine that you was on a spiders web, and the spider was wrapping you up in a web, and singing this lullaby to you. Relaxing, right? But still, it's only doing that to stop you squirming, to make things flow easier ;) Thanks for the review!

Yeah

I could hear Kook Keith rapping over this. Weird thing is, I don't know which of his personas he'd be using.

kurotoko responds:

Kool Keith eh? i gotta check that guy out! Thanks for the review brodie!

I write a variety of stuff, short stories, raps, other things...
